It’s my pleasure to welcome you all to the 2026 Brooklin Spring Fair. A fair started by agriculture and carried on because of a community that cared. I think we all could agree a huge applause goes out to the directors who dedicate their devoted time into this annual event as well as those service providers who bring the action that children and fair goers alike can’t wait to enjoy! We also can’t forget our sponsors we greatly appreciate their support making this event happen!!
At a very young age I developed a love and respect for fairs. Growing up on a farm in the 655, fairs for my family were an affordable short-term vacation from the farm. If we weren’t bringing in other farmer’s cows for the shows, derby cars for the young, determined crash test enthusiasts, we’d attend, if it were my call mainly for the tractor pull.
We’ve got another action-packed year in store, amusement rides with ride all day bands both Thursday and Sunday, the derby back in action Thursday and Saturday evenings and a pie auction between the heats on Saturday night, start training to keep that bidding arm strong! The tractor pull will be roaring once again and great entertainment with adult refreshments in the back forty all weekend long. We also can’t forget about Sunday with the Rawhide Rodeo back to saddle up once again. Other things to be sure to check out, homecraft in the arena, dueling pianos up there as well on stage Saturday night and K-Pop star experience Saturday, pop right over to check that out after the parade and maybe after check out a show at the courtyard stage or sign up your little farmer for the pedal pull.
There is so much happening, and I bet you can’t wait to see it all and grab your favourite delight from our huge selection of food vendors.
Bye for now.
We can’t wait to see you!
