Message from the President

It bring’s me great pleasure and excitement to bring you greetings on behalf of the Brooklin Agricultural Society. We hope the year long work of the volunteer members of the Brooklin Agricultural Society celebrates agriculture, fair and community.

There is so much to explore and discover at the Brooklin Spring Fair and this year is no different. We have added some new events, as well as keeping some of our tradition fair favourites. Enjoy Bingo, Brats and Brews Thursday night, explore farming and agriculture in Agri-land, take in a drink while listening to The Red Cup County Band or the comedy show Saturday night. Fan Favourites like the Demolition Derby on Thursday and Saturday nights. The Tractor Pull will wake up the neighbourhood on Friday, this year including local diesels. And we are excited to welcome back the RAM Rodeo family on Sunday afternoon.

I encourage everyone to explore the many ways that you can further experience the Brooklin Spring Fair. Display your culinary and creative arts in homecraft, decorate a float for the parade, challenge yourself to enter the spelling bee, nail drive competition, or Ambassador Program. Take part in Durham Regions 112th year long tradition. Take your enjoyment of the fair to the next level.

I would like to send out a sincere thank you to our generous sponsors, families, volunteers, and member’s for continued support year after year. Without your continued efforts and dedication the fair would not be what it is.

On behalf of the Brooklin Agricultural Society Board of Directors and myself, we look forward to celebrating with you and your families, and our community. See you at the 112th Brooklin Spring Fair June 1st to 4th, 2023!

Sincerely,
Nicole Scott
2023 President, Brooklin Agricultural Society
