Welcome one and all to our 102nd Spring Fair. This year’s theme is Brooklin- A Place to Grow. Spring is a special time of year when we look forward to watching our crops grow, our livestock thrive and shake away our wintertime blues. Each year, Brooklin experiences growth not only on the fields and in the barns, but in our community boundaries. Our mandate as a Fair board is to ensure we continue to promote agricultural awareness for our community. Brooklin has a great deal of heritage to celebrate and we are here to make sure it happens each year.
We have many of our favourite exhibits and activities such as, Agri-land with hands-on activities to amaze the young and young at heart, our Demo-Derby, Truck and Tractor pull, our Homecraft brimming with many crafts and preserves, entertainment galore on the Arena Stage, of course the thrill filled Midway and don’t forget our livestock competitions throughout the duration of the Fair.
What is new, you may ask? Come see the Hot Diggity Dogs Show on Sunday. We have moved our lawn tractor pull to Saturday before the Demo- Derby. Also, we have made some changes to our Bavarian Tent to create more of a family atmosphere. Check out the tent as you enjoy your favourite fair meal. Our nightly entertainment will feature our local favourite, The Charles Street Band.
On behalf of our Directors and many volunteers, we look forward to seeing you at the Brooklin Spring Fair the first weekend in June!
