How would you like an opportunity to serve your community, win great prizes and have lots of fun? Come join the Brooklin Spring Fair Ambassador Program. As the Brooklin Spring Fair Ambassador, you will represent the Brooklin Spring Fair during the Fair and at community events throughout the year. The Ambassador Program is a leadership program that will grant you the opportunity to make lifelong connections and enhance your resume.
The Ambassador Program is an opportunity for young men and women between the age 17 and 23. The competition consists an interview, a 2-3 minute speech (relating to the fair, community, etc.) and answer a randomly picked question. Contestants are also judged on their ease of communication, knowledge of the fair and community, poise and public interactions.
All ambassador contestants will receive prizes and entry to the fair, with the top three also receive scholarship money and a VIP weekend at the fair.
The Ambassador, 1st runner up, and 2nd runner will represent the Brooklin Spring Fair the 2024/2025 season (May 31, 2024 – May 30, 2025). Their roles and responsibilities will vary throughout the Fair time and also at several functions during the year.
This year our ambassador program will be done in person at the fair, in the arena (May 31st, 2024).
Contestant Requirements:
- Male or Female between the ages of 17 – 23 at the time of the Fair (must be 17 before August 2024 to ensure you are 18 year of age at the following years CNE) NOTE: this is NOT a beauty pageant.
- Must live in the Durham Region (past 6 months)
- All contestants must be available for majority of the fair weekend
- The Ambassador (winner) must be available for various dates throughout the year.
- The roles and responsibilities will vary throughout the fair weekend and through out the year.
Competition Requirements:
- Contestants will complete a private interview with judges.
- Present a small speech on a topic relating to community, agriculture, or the fair.
- Contestants will also answer an impromptu question.
- Contestants will provide a copy of their resume.
Prizes:
- All contestants will receive an amazing prize packages donated by our Sponsors
- Top three will receive VIP weekend at the fair (food for the weekend included)
- Ambassador (1st)
- Receiving half after fair weekend and the half after other events have been attended and the C.N.E in August 2025
- 1st Runner-up (2nd)*
- 3rd Runner-up (3rd)*
- Best Speech
- Most Congenial
*depends on the amount of contestants
Duties of winner:
- Be present the weekend of the fair
- Attend the O.A.A.S conference in Toronto the following year in February 2025
- Represent the Brooklin Spring Fair in the C.N.E. Ambassador Competition the following year in August 2025

As the Jr. Brooklin Spring Fair Ambassador, you will represent the Brooklin Spring Fair during the Fair and at community events throughout the year. The Jr. Ambassador Program is a leadership program that will give young adults the opportunity to make lifelong connections and grow their interview and social presence.
The Jr. Ambassador Program is an opportunity for young men and women between the grades of 6-8. The competition consists an interview, reading of their biography and answer a randomly picked question. Contestants are also judged on their ease of communication, knowledge of the fair and community, poise and public interactions.
All Jr. Ambassador contestants will receive prizes and entry to the fair, with the winner receiving scholarship money and a VIP weekend at the fair.
The Jr. Ambassador will represent the Brooklin Spring Fair during the 2024/2025 season (May 31, 2024 – May 30, 2025). Their roles and responsibilities will vary throughout the Fair time and also at several functions during the year.

- must live within Durham Region
- Jr. Ambassador (winner) must be available for Saturday of the Fair.
- All contestants are able to participate in the parade on Saturday morning.
- The Jr. Ambassador (winner) must be available for various dates throughout the year.

- Present a small biography about themselves, created with the Jr. Ambassador committee
- Contestants will also answer an impromptu question.

The Mini Ambassador Program is a fun program, that gets the children involved in their community.
Rules
- Open to boys and girls (this is NOT a beauty pagent)
- Between the ages of grade 1 and 2
- must live within Durham Region
- Each contestant will answer 5 question’s (provided to parents ahead of time)
- All the contestants are able to participate in the parade on Saturday morning.
- Mini Ambassador (winner) should be available for Saturday of the fair.
