Congratulations to the 2024 Ontario Volunteer Service Awards Winner for BSF
The Ontario Volunteer Service Awards recognize adult & youth volunteers for their outstanding contributions and years of continuous service to a single organization within Ontario. Membership alone is not a qualification for recognition. Volunteers can be nominated annually by their organization.
Those nominated will receive a personalized certificate and lapel pin celebrating their years of service to the organization from 5 years to 65 years of continuous years of service in 5 year increments and for youth volunteers (under the age of 24) for 2 or more years of continuous years of service.
Since 1986, the Ontario government has recognized more than 250,000 volunteers across the province. In 2024, 6,650 community volunteers within the province will be honoured.
This year, the Brooklin Agricultural Society is proud to recognize the following volunteers for their outstanding and longstanding years of service to the Brooklin Agricultural Society and the Brooklin Spring Fair:
Andrew Hodson (5 years)
Kristin Slute (15 years)
Shelly Hopper (20 years)
Neil Guthrie (25 years)
Anne Marie Werry (30 years)
Eldon Werry (45 years)
