When is the Fair?
The Fair is always the first full weekend in June, that means in 2024 you can join us from Thursday May 30th through Sunday June 2nd.
Is there parking on site?
Yes, there is limited parking on site located in the South field on a first come first served basis for a fee of $10 per vehicle. The entrance to on site parking is off of St. Thomas Street.
Please adhere to the directions given on where to place you car – the spaces are mapped out to ensure the maximum number of cars can park on site.
There is additional accessible parking located by the arena by the North gates. For further details please contact the office.
All parking is done at your own risk, the parking lots are not patrolled.
Is there bike parking on site?
Yes, there is limited bike parking on site located at the North gates. Bikes brought onto the grounds must be locked up at this site as riding a bike within the grounds is not permitted.
What does it cost to get in?
The 2024 admission prices are:
Single Adult Weekend Pass: $45
NEW Single Student Weekend Pass: $35
Adults: $20 at gates ($18 online)
Seniors (65+)/Students (Valid student ID):$15 at gates ($13 online)
Children 6-12: $6.00 at gates ($4.00 online)
Under 5 years of age: FREE
Parking: $10
All ticket sales are final, Fair open rain or shine, no refunds.
All admission prices include in/out privileges with wristband.
I am a person with a disability who requires an attendant, what are the admission costs?
The Brookin Spring Fair strides to be an open and accessible event. For our guests that require assistance to attend our event regular admission prices apply, we offer free admission to their accompanying support workers.
How much are ride tickets?
2024 prices:
1 ticket for $2
16 tickets for $30
36 tickets for $50
Most rides are 2-4 tickets depending on the size of the ride.
What are the height requirements for the rides?
We cannot say exactly what each rides height requirement will be as we won’t know what rides are coming until they actually pull onto the Fairground.
Based on past years we can say that most rides which are larger are a minimum of 42 inches, then for some of the small kiddie rides the minimum is 32 inches’. In the past there have always been a few rides that the only height requirement is that if they are below a certain height they need an adult to ride with them (i.e. the Merry Go Round).
When is the parade and where can I watch it?
The parade is on the Saturday morning of Fair weekend (June 1st, 2024) starting at 10:30AM.
There are lots of places along the parade route that you set up your chair to enjoy the show! The parade starts at the top of HWY 12/Baldwin St at Carnwith Drive. The parade will travel south on HWY 12/Baldwin St turning left onto HWY 7/Winchester Rd. The parade will finish at the corner of HWY 7/Winchester Rd and St Thomas Street.
Can I bring my dog to the Fair with me?
Pets, including dogs, are not allowed on the Fairgrounds. Service Animals properly identified are permitted to enter the grounds.
**EXCEPTION: Pets are permitted to enter the Fairgrounds Saturday at 3:00PM for the Pet Show, your pet must leave the grounds following the show.
Can I bring my own food and drink into the Fair?
Yes (with some exclusions).
All guests are welcome to bring their own picnic lunch into the grounds. Any drink items must be in a sealed container. Open containers, including refillable bottles, must be emptied prior to bringing them into the grounds.
Can I use my Drone on the Fairgrounds?
There is absolutely no use of drones permitted or tolerated on the Fairgrounds as they pose a safety risk.
Please note there is also a Town of Whitby ByLaw prohibiting their use.
What is included in my entry fee?

Are the bleachers for Track Events (Demo Derby, Tractor Pull, etc) licensed?
Only the bleachers on the West side of the track are licensed.
